Ark Ministries was founded in 2005 by Pastor Ed & Jean Bundas and Rob & Jill Card. It is located in Allen Park Michigan.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God. The historic "Words of God" have been recorded and set down for us in the Old and New Testament Scriptures. We believe that the Biblical canon is comprised of 66 authoritative books. These books are fully inspired, accurate, and reliable with regard to all matters of faith and conduct as they were originally written. We hold to the Biblical Scriptures as the plumb line for all that we do and believe.
We believe that there is one God existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father sent His Son Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, to redeem mankind to Himself. A relationship with God comes only through Jesus Christ who lived a sinless life. He redeemed us by His atoning death through His shed blood. He ascended to the right hand of the Father, and He will personally return in power.
We believe that mankind is spiritually dead because of sin, which separates him from God. But God loves all mankind, and wants none to suffer eternal death. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, teaches us all things, and brings to our remembrance the Word of God. Mankind can only be saved by acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, being regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings an in-filling to all believers who desire it (the Baptism of the Holy Spirit), giving each the power to live, witness, proclaim the gospel and make disciples. The Holy Spirit gives us power to mature in Christ-like character through miraculous gifts and ministries in this present day.
We believe that prayer is the basis for all that we do and our connection to God. Through prayer we receive direction and do spiritual warfare.
We believe that intercessory prayer is an is an important part of our services and ministry.
We believe there are many different ways to enter into worship. It is our desire to provide an atmosphere of worship that is open to the Holy Spirit and directed by Him. We believe in the Gifts of the Spirit moving and operating freely within our service and encourage their use under the guidance of the elders of the church.
We believe that the local church is a community of believers, a part of the greater Body of Christ, committed to one another, caring for each other's physical and spiritual needs. The church is entrusted to actively do the works of God on the earth today by fulfilling the Great Commission, with the signs that accompany those who believe (Mark 16, Luke 10, and Matthew 28).
We believe that all mankind shall give an account of their deeds in this earthly life before the judgment seat of Christ. Those with their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be eternally with God in His glory. Those without their names written will be eternally separated from God and tormented.
Worship:
It is our desire to provide an atmosphere of worship that is open to the Holy Spirit and directed by Him.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit moving and operating freely within our service and encourage their use under the guidance of the elders of the church. We desire to see the children participate fully in our worship experience as well.
